Nice a bit upscale/classic ambiance. Food is great and well priced for CH. Not sure if it’s always the case but you get nice amuse busch to start. Warm bread is always complimentary. Portion size isn’t huge but slow service will make you feel full rather than hungry. Yes, the problem at this place is extremely slow till you get the first food(ordering, getting drink, bread etc. takes about 30 min). If you are not very patient like me, consider politely mention you don’t have much time when you are seated. Overall, good place for group meal, business or date lunch/dinner or family night out. PS: Business lunch is available. For 3 course, it is about the same as one main dish price. Try.

An absolutely unbelievable destination for fine service and outstanding food. Top on my list for our recent trip through Europe. An exquisite dining room with culinary treats to match their décor. We had incredible food here beginning with their Rucola-Wasabi-Schaumsuppe kit Spargelglace. Cream of rocket soup flavored with wasabi and asparagus ice cream. A sautéed baby bella mushroom was the base for a scoop of wasabi/asparagus ice cream in this delectable pureed vegetable soup.(Rocket, I have since found out is actually arugula.) The soup was poured over the ice cream at the table and as the heat slightly melted it, it blended the flavors in the most wondrous taste my mouth has ever experienced! It was Fantastic! Our two entrees were Sautiertes Zanderfilet Viennoise auf Peperonata, Madrassauce und Gnocchi or Sauteed pike perch filet«Viennoise» with bell pepper, madras-curry sauce and gnocchi. An artful presentation; moist filets with a crispy skin served with a side of creamy gnocchi, sauced and appointed magnificently. Ausgezeichnet! And — I thought I would order something simple like their Papardelle mit Cherry-Tomaten, Carciofini und Buffel Mozzarella which was Papardelle with cherry tomatoes, young artichokes and buffalo mozzarella. As it turned out, it wasn’t simple — it was simply spectacular! In an effort to over indulge, we went on to select a dessert to finish our meal. Cream Catalana von Ziegenkase mit Aprikosen-Thymian-Sorbet or Goat cheese catalana(baked custard) with apricot-thyme sorbet. Like the rest of the meal, dessert was exquisite! And if that wasn’t enough, they served us this adorable tiered silver stand filled with accoutrements for our coffee with sweet delicacies on the top tier. Great restaurant — you must try it!

Good Swiss restaurant, nice atmosphere, good service. We tried the degustation Zunft menu that was excellent. Interesting wine list. Reservation in advance is highly recommended.

Went there to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday on a Thursday night. I was a very pleasuring experience. The service was top notch professional. The ambient very traditional in a nicely renovated hall. I’ve observed the(out of service) tile oven in the corner for the entire stay and I’m still stunned about the beauty of this restored artefact. The food was … good. Worth the price? Mh, not so sure about that. But again, overall a pleasuring experience.

Seit dem 1. April gilt der Nichtraucherschutz auch in der Schweiz. Das tut nach meiner Meinung richtig gut. Die Schlüsselzunft bietet im EG ein schönes Restaurant, im ersten Stock einen tollen Saal(schön renoviert, Altes erhalten und nicht totgeschlagen) und wirklich gute Küche. prima Service(fast 90 Personen — ist nicht einfach die gleichzeitig abzufüttern), selbst allergie-bedingte kurzfristige Sonderwünsche wurden freundlich und zuverlässig erfüllt.
