Arrived in Buchrain late in the evening and since grocery stores were all closed, did some emergency breakfast shopping(eggs, cheese, milk, yogurt, bread, etc). Was impressed by variety of not just the food available, but also other goods such as soap(which we also purchased as had forgot to pack– they only had liquid, no soap bars but hey at least they had something!) The ladies behind the counters were super nice as we kept asking them to translate the food(at one point mum picked up cottage cheese thinking that was yogurt). Also my 1st experience filling up gas in Switzerland, and apart from my shock at the cost cost, found it interesting that payment facilities were not available at the pump. You have to go in and pay for it at the store(unlike Belgium).
