QN-Restaurant

A client and I had an impromptu dinner at the QN after a business meeting in the trendy bar below. After a short wait for a table the service was excellent and the food superb — all very seasonal dishes in the Swiss tradition but with an Italian twist including an excellent soup. The full car park mid-​week showed our high regard for the food to be shared by people more local — it was full and with ‘quality motors’. QN looks to be a former railway building between Zurich airport and Wintherthur. The bar has an industrial vibe about it — dark with bare boards and again great service — but the restaurant is an oasis of calm — despite the frequent trains. I don’t know of that many quality places to eat between Zurich airport and Wintherthur but at least I now know one!
