Derya Kebab

Delicious! We really enjoyed the kebab and French fries here. The staff were really nice and made it extra spicy, but you can obviously get it without chili. Would highly recommend.

All I can say, is thank goodness the sandwich place was closed, so I at the last minute had to pick up something quick here. I have walked past this place a million times. If you blink you will miss it, except for the bright yellow exterior. It’s a very tiny place, and it’s amazing they can fit it all in there. Even spots for people to sit along the wall, and one table in the back. The place while small is kept clean. The staff were friendly, and all spoke English well. They laughed at my poor attempts at French and quickly changed to English. Typically at a Kebab place, they slap everything into a cold lifeless pita shell and you are good to go. Here, you wait while they bake your pita! I saw them roll the dough and throw it into the oven to heat up. Amazing! I am not sure this is something they do all day, or just during the busy rush at lunch, and they try to keep up with the orders, maybe they don’t have time to stock pile the pitas. I had a mixed chicken sandwich. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the salad and tomatoes they packed inside were fresh and lively, no wilted greens here. They also asked about what sauce to put in. The spicy sauce was perfection. In my excitement to eat the sandwich, I completely forgot to take a picture of the masterpiece. I will definitely have to come back again soon in order to take a picture to share with everyone.
