I have eaten here with my coworkers a few times now and won’t be going again. The waitress lady is beyond rude. She doesn’t really understand the native Swiss-German language which would be ok if the attitude didn’t come with it. When we speak to her in English, she doesn’t really understand that either and again with the attitude. She acts like we should be honored to eat at her restaurant. She cuts us off when ordering(you start to order and she moves on to the next person leaving you with your mouth half open). Each visit, she doesn’t bring us the Sushi menu, we have to ask for it and then it takes forever for her to come back to take our order. The food was better the first time we ate there, today it tasted stale and she brought two of my coworkers that ordered two Avocado rolls, two Avocado Sashimi… is that even a thing? Poor guys were starving since what she served them wouldn’t have satisfied a small boy. I also did not get any Wasabi nor the white noddles everyone else got. They only accept certain credit cards and you’re an idiot if you don’t know which ones. She also conveniently forgot to give me back 10sfrs and I luckily noticed and had to go ask her for it. She did not argue which makes me believe she did it on purpose, as none of us tipped her because the service was lousy. For Swiss prices, there are many many lovelier restaurants out there to spend your money on.

Went here on 2 Jan 2014 to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Reserved but found place was not busy. Still small enough to not feel desolate with only 2 tables filled. Home made atmosphere, suspect cook is husband of the friendly serving lady. Speaks English and German. Sushi plates good and reasonable prices to Zurich standards(e.g. compared to Yooji’s, as per my daughter, who is a reliable source on Sushi!). Also good other Asian dishes. For drinks try a Japanese beer or tea, nicely served of course. Similar to some Asian restaurants in Westchester, New York area, difference is price. So you want to go here to enjoy fine specialties, a bit less to still a big hunger, especially with teen age kids.
