Montreux Jazz Café

Ein schnelles Getränk oder einen kleinen Snack kann man hier zu sich nehmen, zu viele Erwartungen darf man aber nicht haben.
Die Optik ist eher schlicht und wird durch die Flughafen-​Umgebung dominiert.
Da gibt es auf dem Züricher Flughafen netter Café oder Restaurants.
Leider war in der Nähe zu unserem Gate nichts anderes zu bekommen und so landeten wir vor unserem Abflug hier.
Eine Cola kostet 5 Franken und dem Service muss man schon etwas mehr hinter winken oder auf sich aufmerksam machen, wenn man etwas bestellen und bezahlen möchte.

Not necessarily a place you want to go out of your way for. If you happen to be in Check-​In Area 1 By the D Gates, then this is probably your best bet for a drink. Located next to gate D35. Ample seating, good selection of drinks and food. Expensive obviously, its Zurich.

You’ll find this lone café located at the least busiest part of Zurich airport. You may or may not see tall, handsome young men in business suits waiting for their early morning flights to other European countries. I almost felt like I walked into a models’ convention. OK, maybe not but close.
It’s Swiss Francs over here so I have no idea how much my breakfast cost and no I don’t wanna look it up right now.
The servers all speak English — and a myriad of other languages — so it wasn’t hard to get my order in.
Swiss breakfast comes with 2 slices of toast cut in half, 2 slices of bacon (probably totaling 90 calories), and one egg. No butter; don’t they have a lot of cows in Switzerland? I kid. And I know; I could’ve asked for it. It was too bland of a breakfast for me.
I should eat like that if I wanna lose weight. Good luck on that.
Cappuccino too strong as opposed to what I’m used to drinking; OJ is OJ.
Errrr… I may come back. I dunno. Maybe; if they’ll let me stay next time I come.
