L’Auberge

I’ll give you my two-​fold review of this terrific establishment. The first is the food — great. I really enjoyed by meal, which included a spinach ravioli starter. It was fresh and flavorful and included mushrooms and sliced parmigiano-​reggiano. I think happily jumped into the entrée, which was rare lamb chops and assorted vegetables. Overall, a very tasty meal.
As for the hotel, it’s a classic. The rooms are quite spacious and recently update with modern and sleep furniture. It’s comfortable with black and white tiles floors and super clean shower. A perfect fit for a business traveler. The only negative is that it’s located on the corner with a roundabout. With the windows open, it can be quite noisy, but with them closed, you barely notice that there are cars outside.
On last bit of news is the proximity to the train station — it’s less than a 5 minute walk away, so super convenient as well.

Eröffnet im Februar 2011 bietet dieses kleine Hotel mit Restaurant und Seminarräumen in einer stilvoll renovierten Stadtvilla einen angenehmen Rückzugsort und eine gute Nachtruhe. Mit nur 16 Zimmern nie zu voll und immer persönlich. Die Zimmer sind ohne Schnörkel aber mit Stil eingerichtet und die Betten sind super. WLAN im ganzen Haus kostenfrei und schnell. Frühstück ebenfalls nicht überladen aber qualitativ lecker. Und dazu der Schweizer Dialekt. Passt! Der Bahnhof ist in Fussnähe und damit ist dieses Haus eine gute Alternative auch für Bern Besucher (ca. 30 Minuten Zugfahrt entfernt).
