Café Beau-Rivage Palace

Une des meilleures brasseries chiques de Lausanne. Service impeccable, carte des vins très étendue, ambiance agréable, carte complète et qualité sont au rendez-​vous !

One of my favorite spot in Lausanne to enjoy a drink during Summer on their Terrasse. The view over the Leman Lake and the Alps is just breathtaking for any tourists you want to bring here.
Atmosphere ⁵⁄₅: The atmosphere is great as written earlier. This is a prime and upscale place to have a drink and enjoy the view. It might get a little bit crowded during the week-​ends and you might have to wait 30−45min for a table outside!
Food ³⁄₅: Food is descent, I haven’t had the chance to try all the menu but from past experience, the food is good. I just think it’s a little bit overprice for what they’re giving you. I understand paying 25−30CHF for an Entrée but I just think that for the same price, you can have higher quality in another place. This is maybe more a Café than Restaurant.
Service ⁴⁄₅: Good service overall. You might have to wait a little bit before your order to be taken if it’s busy.
Enjoy your time, this is again an upscale place compared to other places in Lausanne. You won’t find any drinks cheaper than 6 CHF which is the price of an Espresso. Beer starts at 10 CHF and Wine at 12 CHF. Soft Drinks are at 8 CHF just so you’re aware about it!
