Sometimes you walk into a place and feel like you’re in a different time– when you come here, that will be one of those moments. The Nash Carlton is beautiful!
I came to Lausanne for just a night with several friends, and I am in love with this hotel. The rooms are small, tv is tiny, and beds aren’t so great. However, the rooms are beautiful, bathrooms recently updated with baths and my towel warmer is quite handy.
I would definite recommend this hotel to my friends! We booked off of tripadvisor and spent $ 100 for a Friday night. Not bad!

The huge and very comfortable bed alone was worth the money. The staff is friendly. The room was very clean. Being located just around the corner from the metro station make the hotel very easy to reach from the train station, city centre and the lakeside. The list price of more than 300.- CHF per night for a double room might be a bit expensive and more than appropriate. However, I got a good deal and only paid 110.- CHF for the same room. The only downside was the ugly view from my room.

Un hôtel chic de Lausanne à deux pas du métro Délices, entre le centre-ville et le quartier proche du lac. Chambres confortables et spacieuses et accueil impeccable. Le mieux est en effet de réserver via Booking car les tarifs en direct frôlent les 250EUR avec petit-déjeuner. Dommage que dans un hôtel 4 étoiles, on nous demande encore de payer l’accès au wifi et le parking la nuit

Das Nash Carlton ist ein sehr angenehmes Hotel! Freundliche Menschen, praktisch orientiert (Stromadapter zu verkaufen :-), flauschig– plüschiges Ambiente, nette (kleine) Zimmer. Allein das Frühstück ist mir zu sehr auf Abfertigung ausgerichtet. Kein Frischer Kaffee, alles nur noch self service…
Aber wenn man nur für eine Nacht dort ist, sollte man das Carlton in jedem Fall in Erwägung ziehen. Vom Bahnhof 2 Stationen mit der Metro Richtung See… zu Fuß vielleicht 5 Minuten
