I recently stopped here as it was one of the few places open on a late Sunday afternoon around 5:00pm for a mid day snack before hopping on my train at the Lausanne train station. Their menu highlighted Movenpick ice cream, waffles, and paninis. My husband and I each grabbed a waffle with a scoop of Movenpick (crème brûlée). Usually, there is only one flavor of waffle to chose from — normal. However, this place offered a apple cinnamon waffle. The waffles are pre made and left waiting for someone to pick them. My husband’s was warm, but hadn’t asked for his to be reheated, and I chose the apple cinnamon which I had reheated on the grill. The reheating made all the difference. I was really enjoying mine, and while my husband liked his, it wasn’t as good. The reheating made all the difference in the world. The ice cream itself was Movenpick perfection.
