I decided to check out this place after a lot of great reviews. There are a lot of good things about this place, but overall it was just ok. I wasn’t blown away.
If you’re looking for good prices, quick food, and good service, then this is the place for you. The food is ok but nothing to write home about. Some things have good flavor and other things not so much.
It is definitely a quicker place and probably one you want to do for take-​out. I wouldn’t recommend going for a nice dinner.
Plus side for foreigners, they have a menu in English.
The green curry with shrimp was decent. The coconut soup was terrible — way too much lemongrass that was inedible and not much flavor overall. Fried rice with pineapple was decent.
I’d probably grab takeout from there again but choose differently on my food choices. If you need something quick and cheap, this is the way to go. Otherwise I would recommend somewhere else.

Located in Ouchy, one of the most expensive place in town, this little restaurant-​take away takes you straight on in Asia. Nice good, minute maid, you have to be patient sometimes when the place is crowded, but men, the place deserve it. Nice fish balls, green red yellow curries, massaman, yummi yummi and cheap.

We saw this place recommended on Trip Advisor as one of the few good inexpensive restaurants in Lausanne. It didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious (I ordered the 5 spice duck), and the price was very reasonable — especially for a tourist haven in Switzerland.
The main downside is that they don’t have many indoor tables, they’re mainly a take-​away joint. This didn’t bother us much — we just took our food down to the lakeside to eat it.
They also have menus in English, which was greatly appreciated since my French is terrible.

My first time in switzerland so I don’t know a lot, don’t speak French so it’s difficult to figure stuff, without looking like a dumb american lol, my husband & I came across this Thai spot all I can think of it’s clean they, have an American menu. The food was excellent, I had the panaeng curry with white rice, 8 wings for an appetizer $ 15 or 15 franks.(that was pricey) my husband had pan fried rice with chicken. The food reminds me of California. Fantastic, good food & friendly people. What more can you ask for. Our food was 51 franks. I think 8 wings for 15 franks is all I would change cause the wings were tiny & just not worth that price.

The four of us arrived at the Thai restaurant starving and ordered appetizers right away (Spicy soup with shrimps 13.50chf and 4 chicken skewers with Satay sauce 8.00chf). The bowl of soup was large enough for two as an appetizer. The chicken skewers were good but did not resemble the photo on the wall (which was what enticed us in the first place).
The two of us who ordered the pad thai (described on the menu as «pan fried noodles with shrimp, chicken, or tofu») were very pleased: «Not too much sauce, not too greasy.» The dish came with condiments on the side (chili pepper, lime…). The green curry with chicken and pumpkin and red curry with duck were flavorful and delicious. The portions are rather large but it was not possible to share family style because each dish arrived with the rice already on a large dinner plate. The waitress kindly packed up my friend’s leftover pad thai in a take out box. A rarity outside the US!
According to our friendly, chatty waitress, her mom was the one cooking in the kitchen which explained why all the dishes came out fresh. I can’t wait to return to try the other items on the menu… for the first time, I’m tempted to order for take out to maximize my culinary experiences there!
Pros: delicious, value for money, generous portions, friendly service, cleanest toilet in Lausanne
Cons: small space (perhaps up to 25 people), not suitable for large groups as tables are limited, must share table with other diners, they need to get thai ice tea on their menu!
