My wife and I had lunch here after Christmas Market in Montreux. The place was nearly empty at 12:30, in the heart of the lunch hour, but it was mid week. The service was friendly and quick in light of European standards. For lunch, one can only order the daily special only which came with soup and fried rice(though white rice was available as well). There were four dishes to choose from, I had the Cantonese style roast duck and my wife had the shrimp curry. Both dishes were quite tasty. The soup, which was a clear broth with vegetables was also quite good and great on a relatively cold day. All in all, it was 44 CHFs about $ 44 at current exchange rate and included two beers. Now for the most important part. I grew up in San Francisco which has outstanding Chinese food. And in comparison with food in SF, this was mediocre. But all things are relative and the French speaking of Switzerland are a virtual dessert when it comes to Asian food. In light of that, this place was well above anything else we have had in the area. And given the general prices in Switzerland, this is plainly an excellent value.
