Museumsnacht

Happened to be in Schaffhuasen for the weekend to visit the Rhine falls with a friend from out of town. We were about to visit a museum and the lady told us that for the price of entering one museum we could enter as many as we liked from 6– 1am in several different towns around the area. Plus, the arm band we received would also get us on the buses and trains for free. Not to mention they had a prearranged shuttle bus schedule with several different tours you could make. So for only 11 CHF, we received free transport, plus the ability to tour many different museums that we hadn’t previously even known about. The only downside is that we tried to utilise the shuttle bus and lost one hour as the shuttle bus got lost and had no clue where to go. However, overall the night was amazing. I saw many places that I had never originally planned to see, and enjoyed. Plus, there was free concerts and lots of great local food stands to snack on throughout the night. They mentioned they do this once a year, and have done so for the past 12 –15 yrs. Very cool!
