Lauenensee

Enough from busy downtown, road traffics, crowded train stations and many aggressive looks!!! So it’s time to make an excursion to beautiful Swiss mountains and to enjoy green landscapes, lakes and peacefully cows pastures. It was tough to wake up Saturday quite early morning but It was worth it^^ Friends chose Gstaad Lauenensee in the Swiss German speaking part because it’s an easy flat land, also no climbing this time^^ We enjoyed fresh air, and juicy grassland which is indeed a basis for tasty Swiss milk, chocolate and cheese. We spent lunch time in amazing rustic Lauenensee restaurant with it’s wonderful view on green relaxing landscape and mountains. Well! We ate typical Swiss mountain dishes such as «croûte au fromage» means on bread baked cheese with an fried egg. For dessert we enjoyed fresh fruit cakes with fresh cream. The waitress was very friendly. We travelled back with a special panoramic train and loved the view on mountains and at the end on big Geneva lake. The prices were on average and we decided to do more of this kind of trips in the future^^
