Stopped in here for a leisurely lunch while waiting for the train. Everything was fresh and great tasting. I had the «quiche» or «cheese cake» with a green salad (CH14.5). Everything was full of flavor. The cheese cake had a nice buttery crust with strong cheese flavors in an egg base. Pretty much exactly like a cheese quiche.
The staff were friendly and offered to translate the basic menu, which was nice. They even offered Wifi, allowing me to check in and post this review.

I enjoyed the käsekuchen or savory cheesecake, similar to a quiche, which is homemade, and comes with fruit and a salad for 14.50. Brasserie 66 is a short walk from the Spiez train station, and has a lovely view of the lake and mountains.
Service was friendly, and the kind server translated the menu for us. The menu is in German.
We asked about wifi, and they gave us the password. This is very handy for travelers.
If I was a local, you’d find me at Brasserie 66 every week for that savory Käsekuchen! It was #8 on the menu.
Highly recommended.
