Juraparc

Juraparc is the kind of zoo which cares about animals. Enclosures are extra large and the animals have possibilities to retreat behind rocks, trees or in caves. In Juraparc there are many wild animals: Bears, American bisons, wolves, lynxes, Przewalski-​horses (Mongolia) and also some goats etc. Bears and wolves live together in the same enclosure. The Mont d’Orzeires environment is the natural habitat of these wild animals. I recommend to check their homepage to see if baby bears or wolves were recently born because it’s lot of fun to watch them^^ An alpine chalet houses a restaurant where you can eat snacks. It’s possible to get there by train (stop in Le Pont) and afterwards it’s a 30 minutes walk on a hiking trail.
