They have Heinz and Jack Daniels barbecue sauce here, woo-​hoo! I’ve never bothered to go to this store until last week, because I was told that it was filled with expired stuff. But last Saturday I decided to check it out, and lol and behold, the merchandise was NOT expired. In fact, I was elated to find some familiar American stuff that I don’t always see in Switzerland (i.e., the BBQ sauce). Yipee!
I also found a cool wine pourer and cap combo for under Sfr. 2.- It worked so well to prevent wine drips that I went back today to get another set.
This store is a little akin to a ROSS Dress for Less or a T.J. Maxx in the U.S. but with a smaller selection of stuff. And Otto’s also sells alcohol.
I think it’s worth a browse from time to time to pick up some deals. Tried to look for some ranch dressing today, but I haven’t seen that so far in Switzerland. :P
