Loge

I travel quite a lot (about 50% of my time for work) and have stayed in 100s of hotels all over the US, Europe, and Asia, and I can honestly say this is one of it not the worst hotel experience I have ever had. First there is no air-​conditioning in the rooms in the hotel and not even a ceiling fan. My room does have a window which I have left wide open but that only seems to be able to bring the temperature in the room down from 95 F to 90 F. Additionally since it was cooler outside then inside I even asked for a simple small fan to help pull cold air into the room but was told they had no fans either. The other issue with leaving the window open is that my room is on the second floor directly above the entrance to the hotel which sits on the busy downtown street. So from 10pm until 1am I was awake due to all the noise from the downstairs restaurant and bar. After 1am the noisy crowd dispersed only to be replaced by the sounds of garbage trucks and early morning deliveries, which continue all morning until I gave up trying to sleep at 3am. In addition to these issues, the hotel in general appears run down. The phone in my room was broken, the bed is basically a military style cote and about as comfortable,. The breakfast is a joke. Do not make the same mistake I did go somewhere, anywhere else.

Bedienung sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Mittagskarte ist unkompliziert, aber ansprechend und abwechslungsreich. Der Loge-​Salat war heute wieder ausgezeichnet.

Gepflegtes Lokal mit wunderschöner Gartenbeiz im Sommer. Die Drinks sind sehr gut und auch das Essen hat mich bisher nie enttäuscht. Speziell hervorzuheben ist der schnelle und gute Service. Im zugehörigen Kino laufen gute und spezielle Filme. Einzig schade, dass es in diesem Kino kein Pop-​Corn gibt und die Lüftung in den Säälen etwas besser sein könnte.

Die Loge in Winterthur ist ein sinnlicher Ort, der so manches zu bieten hat: Da gibt es die sehr gemütliche Oasenbar, welche alle Cocktails & Drinks in ihrem Repertoire führen und perfekt beherrschen. Hier wird man überaus freundlich empfangen, sorgsam darauf bedacht, die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Ebenso beherbergt die Loge ein Restaurant, ein Hotel, und ein Kino, wie genügend Platz für Bankette und Events.
Normalerweise gehen wir erst in die Bar, und anschliessend ins Kino. Hernach bietet sich das gediegene Restaurant an, dass mit kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten aufwarten kann und weiss, wie Gäste zu verwöhnen sind. Hier lässt sich zu absolut fairen Preisen einen gemütlichen Abend verbringen, und dennoch etwas erleben.
Das Restaurant bietet auch hervorragende Weine an, die auch degustiert werden können, was eine ganz nette Idee ist.
