Bio tea, bio sausages, bio beets… and bio hats?
Two thirds of this cute little store is a wide selection of bio foods, mostly packaged — nuts, spices, tapenades, and the like. There’s also fresh or refrigerated things — a few boxes of veggies, a small meat case, and a sizable cheese case (we are in Switzerland, after all). You won’t find everything you need for the week, but what they have is good.
The other thirds is a mix of organic cotton shirts, handknit wool hats, artsy greeting cards, and wooden children’s toys. Nice little cottage industry.
When I say cute, that’s only inside (on the right side of the heavy glass windows) — outside, you’re right on the central intersection at Meierhofplatz. Get your bags and wallet sorted before you head out the door, because the busses take the corner a bit tight.
