These guys seem pretty nice, but I’ve ordered pizza delivered to me twice now. The first time was fine. The second time, they screwed up my order and it never showed up. I called back after 1 hr and 15 minutes (it was supposed to take 30 – 40) and they said that there had been a mistake and that they could offer me a free drink. I said forget about your free two franc drink. That’s ridiculous and said I wanted a free pizza. They then offered me a free pizza and free dessert. Then, when the driver showed up, he charged me for the pizza and said that the dessert was free, which was a tiny little cup of pudding or something. I told him nevermind, I don’t want it and then he drove off. The manager calls me back and starts telling me that he never offered me a free dessert and that now I can have the pizza for free and pay for the dessert that I never wanted in the first place and that still costs 7.50. I say, no thanks, and he tried really hard to get me to not write this review by offering me the pizza and dessert for free now and having the driver turn around and bring it back to me. Since, I guess it would contaminated with spit at this point, I said no thanks. Now, it’s two hours after I originally ordered my pizza and I’m still extremely hungry. Thanks, Franco Pizza Service!

Franco’s Pizza (–service) in Oerlikon ist legendär. Pizza und Pasta kann man entweder vor Ort hinter dem Bahnhof Oerlikon geniessen oder sie sich nach Hause bringen lassen. Über den Mittag ist es an der kleinen Theke zum bersten voll. Das Volk bei Francos ist bunt druchmischt — Vom Banker bis zum Gymasiast finden sich dort alle ein.
Ein Grund dafür, neben der hervorragenden Qualität und genialen Preisen, ist die Reduktion für Schüler und Studenten.
Zum Essen gibts für jeden Geldbeutel etwas:
–grosse und feine erwärmte Panini (mit Rohschinken, Pikantem Salami, Vegi, TOMO) ab 5.-
–Diverse Salate
–Pizze ab 11.-
–Pasta & Mittagsmenu meist zwischen 10 – 16 Franken
Wie erwähnt, schmecken die Pizzen einfach um Welten besser als die von den grossen Ketten wie Dominos oder Pizza-​Blitz und können sich auch locker mit solchen aus schönen Pizzerias messen.
Das Personal ist stets aufgestellt und freundlich, wenn auch manchmal etwas chaotisch.
