Hotel Atlantis Guesthouse

Hotel Atlantis Guesthouse is located outside the Zürich’s center, so it was very nice and quiet. You can get there by the tram, stopping at the stop Triemli. My beau and I made the mistake of trekking up the hill on Panorama Way, and hiking for a good 15 minutes. However, the hotel is easy to get to downhill directly off the tram and cutting through the residential area.
The staff is very friendly and speak English well. I was a big fan of this hotel during my stay– clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, and even a mini fridge & tv! There is also free wifi available. Last but not least, the complimentary breakfast is worth going to; it’s loaded with a variety of cheeses & meats, Swiss muesli, yogurt, bread, fruits, eggs, coffee, tea, etc…

Jedes Jahr steigt im GZ Heuried in Zürich ein internationaler B-​Boy-​Event und dann wird das Hotel Atlantis zum Treffpunkt der Hiphopszene. Das ist ganz lustig, weil sich dann in der Lobby sehr viele spannende Leute treffen und bis in die frühen morgen Stunden zu Youtube-​Videos abgehen. Die Reception findet dies wahrscheinlich nicht so lustig.
Auf jeden Fall ist das Hotel Atlantis ziemlich heruntergekommen. Naja, das ist jetzt etwas fies. Es ist auf jeden Fall schon alt und nicht mehr sehr modern, auch was die Einrichtung betrifft. Von der Fassade spreche ich jetzt mal gar nicht :) Die Mitarbeiter sind aber nett und freundlich und man merkt, dass man etwas ausserhalb der Stadt ist.
Zu erreichen ist das Hotel Atlantis eigentlich am besten mit dem Auto. Wer keins zur Verfügung hat, kann am Hauptbahnhof in Tram Nummer 14 steigen, bis Heuried. Oder vom Triemli her (mit S10 vom Hauptbahnhof bis Triemli fahren) kann man laufen.
Das Hotel bietet ein Frühstücksbuffet, sonst ist man aber verloren, wenn man etwas zu essen will. Muss man halt Pizza bestellen. Vorteile des Hotels: Gratis W-​Lan im ganzen Haus, Raucher– oder Nichtraucherzimmer und es ist mit 135 Franken pro Nacht relativ günstig. Auf jeden Fall hat man dort oben seine Ruhe.

Ok place. Not too expensive but also nothing special. Very simple breakfast.
