Airconed in a little corner of Jalan Besar, run by a PRC family, they had the baby playing in the back near the cashier while the mother took orders and the father served dishes. We arrived at 12pm on sunday, when they just opened, and they quickly attended to us. Show them the
voucher which was $ 1.99 for a $ 25.80 Medium chicken hot pot and quickly got to ordering other vegetables and ingredients. The chicken was most definitely seasoned overnight, which gave it a strong aroma and flavour. I loved it! So much better than the chicken hot pot at NEX! Golden mushrooms, veggies and even maggie noodles, everything tasted awesome. I was fearful that it was tasty because of MSG, but I didn’t feel thirsty at all after the meal. YAY! so possibly it was naturally seasoned then? Nonetheless I wouldn’t pay $ 25.80++ for the chicken hotpot. It was just the right size for 3 people, they guarantee 450gm of chicken in the medium hot pot. I would def come back to try their frog hotpot :)
