Slightly overpriced ala-carte items… Pricing is comparable to that of a restaurant. I wouldn’t come here if I am looking for quality tandoori(which is by the way, cold and slightly hard. Been out on display for some time). Apparently customers are here for their staple I.e. Rice/noodles/pratas etc. They are reasonably priced, but not for their tandoori /curries/sizzlers. Wouldn’t pay for average tandooris of such price when I can have them at almost similar pricing in a quality restaurant. Their vegetable chapati is good though, potato side dish has that ‘wok’ taste! If u’re nearby, you can drop by for a taste of the staples, not the tandooris! Also, if you happen to be parking illegally, this is a good place to watch your car as it’s situated at the corner of the mini junction lol!

a good place to hangout and eat after shopping at Mustafa Centre. great place for south indian staples like roti prata, naans and fried food. Affordable and decent portion of serving. and ah hah, smoking tables for smokers which is hard to find in this fine country.

I’m not saying this is the best prata in Singapore. But it’s my local & I stand by it. You might think that any prata in Little India is always awesome. But trust me, it isn’t. I’ve had some terrible prata in Little India and I live there. Ma Raj has always been fairly reliable. They make a decent range of typical mamak stall dishes competently and are open very late, maybe 24 hours even, I’m not entirely sure. But when it’s 1am on a Sunday night, I’m binge-watching Scandal on Netflix and am peckish for a snack, these guys will sort me out. They’ve also recently renovated(I had a mini heart attack when I thought they had closed down) so the place has more space and looks more atas. Well, as atas as a mamak stall can possibly look.
