The fried chichen in the yellow rice nasi lemak is good, sambal a bit on the salty side but overall it taste good. Ice Latte came extremely sweet, asked to change and still came back the same. The worse part is the service. You’d have to order and pay at the counter yet there is 10% service charge. Beyond getting your food, the servers are difficult to find, not to mention getting their attention. It would’ve been 1 star if not for the food which I like but I won’t return because of the lack of service.

Was at T1 early in the morning to have breakfast with my parents before seeing them off, stopped at Pappamia who has just opened. The lady beckoned us in(first customers), and told us what is available and not available(quickly that is), and we proceeded to order, one quick order and another«slow»(can only be ready in 20min) order. The«slow» order came first, and the simple egg and toast came last. Food quality is generally OK, love the chicken porridge as it was full of ingredients and chicken was tender and in large chunks, the way I liked it(my mum would have preferred smaller chunks). I was surprised that it’s not as salty as I expected. The soft boil eggs were perfect for me, with semi cooked sticky yolk(I hate it too runny). In general, food and serving size is positively OK for me, service was only just OK as I can see they do try to please customers, but they can’t handle the large numbers coming in at the same time and get the orders mixed up.

Everything sucked. Except for the fried chicken n maybe nasi lemak. chicken rice didn’t live up to the famed Chatterbox chef’s name. But this the few eateries open b411am here at Terminal 1. #ThomtoriEats

Quite a disgrace considering this may be the first Local fare any tourist may attempt. Besides overpriced, Char kway teow comes in lukewarm, pre-cooked(served within 3 mins of ordering), petite size that’s overly spicy and salty. Its Chicken rice set earns itself the 2 stars.

Poor food quality and extremely poor service. 1) Tom yum kuay teow soup Kuay teow was so overcooked that it was as good as mush. Almost inedible and we had to order another dish instead. 2) Chicken rice Yes it’s their signature dish. It was ok to be fair, but average at best. However, I requested for drumstick and was served all breast meat. This is despite having this request being acknowledged when my order was taken. 3) Chicken curry noodles This was ok but it was not served hot. Moreover this order came 2 minutes after we placed the order because we were wrongly served another table’s order(the rest of the dishes came 15 min later) 4) Oyster omelette Do not expect or luak like what you would at a hawker centre. No where near plus drenched in oil. The worst part about it was the service. We were constantly being served dishes that were not ours and noticed that this was happening to other tables too through the night. Also, our drinks order was taken but not served and when we asked where it was, our server had to take our order again because she had no recollection of taking our order just a few minutes ago. Overall, I would definitely NOT recommend this place. No idea how it even survives.

srsly? last place i wanna go for my last meal before flight if im ever at terminal one again. 1. nonya fried chicken — portions r huge. two huge chicken thighs but it came cold. no matter how tasty e chicken is, e temperature of e food just killed it for me. 2. otak otak fried omelette — cubes of otak(fish paste) in omelette. this was OK, something i can whip out myself in e kitchen and do a better job methinks :) 3. ngoh hiang — OK, nothing to scream about. i had better ones.(again) dish came cold. 4. coconut ice cream — this is not too bad. scoop of coconut ice cream served in a coconut with gula melaka and peanut nips. think this is my fav out of my whole meal but not something that is good enough for me to come back. not coming back evah. this place is dead to me.

Ripoff of the popular Malaysian coffeeshop chain PappaRich, PappaMia has the exact same layout and concept… even food and décor. The food is meh. Not bad, but you could do better at Saboten and Ramen Champion and all the other places to eat, even for a quick meal before you fly. The drinks are way too sweet in a cloying wall. The char kway teow is not too bad if you feel like a pile of grease before taking off to charkwayteow-less foreign places.
