With many Muslim stalls closed during Hari Raya, I decided to have a meal here. While looking through the menu, the first thing I noticed was, wah, the drinks are overpriced! I went ahead with a Thai apple chicken sandwich and topped up $ 3 for a soup and cake of the day, though I would have preferred to get a drink instead of soup. Placed my order and was given a coaster pager — it lights up when the food is ready, so diners will know when to collect their order. I asked for foccacia bread to go with my sandwich. Man, the sandwich was huge(and my jaws are so small). I had to cut it up into smaller pieces to eat. Not bad, but it came with too much sliced onions, I spent a while picking those out. The sweetness of the apples complemented the grilled chicken quite well. However, the swiss roll tasted like it was left out too long and the mushroom soup both looked and tasted disgusting. It was too salty. Only the sandwich saved the day.
