We came to this little board game café because we felt like there is not much to do in Hong Kong on a Saturday night but to eat and drink. We tried really hard looking for something to do. If you didn’t book your movie tickets before hand, you won’t even have a chance to get good seats unfortunately. Finally, after some google-searching, we finally found this café, which we are initially quite skeptical of; we had no idea what we should have expected. We arrived around 10pm on a Saturday night and realized that it was completely packed. We so fortunately found one table that was available. It was $ 30/person/session. They have tea and water on offer, you can also buy your own drinks, like vita lemon, vita soy, etc. cheaper than 7 – 11! At Capstone, there were hundreds of board games, games I know, games I’ve never seen nor heard of, Chinese games, Western games, Korean games, anything you can think of. Of course, out of all the games, it is impossible to know how to even play a third of the games available there, but worry not, the people who work there(the night we were there, the owner, her young son and another worker) can all help. They were all able to assist by teaching us the games we wanted to learn. When they see us playing a certain game, they would even recommend games they think we would like. Overall, we had an amazing time there that evening. We could have stayed for longer, but they close at 12 so our time was limited. Very nice gem, if you’re looking for something different to do.
