I live above elements so I wish this place was somewhere I had confidence in. The doctors barely pay attention or test for issues and I have to specifically request that they take notice of specific particulars. The office team is frustrating. They are so incredibly inefficient it’s unbelievable. One time I was repeatedly told to wait for my prescription and after an hour I had to insist whether my prescription was forgotten about (it was and they were so rude, not even an apology).
Then today, perfect example of how frustrating they are: I called in the morning to make an appointment. I have insurance and asked to see a gynecologist and if they were available at 5pm (I have to leave work early since they close before my work hours end). When I arrived, it was NOT a gynecologist (general Doctor) and apparently this doctor does not accept insurance (why didn’t they tell me when I was making the appointment??). Since its for something I’ve had before, I requested for antibiotics and some other meds for my recurrent issue.
It takes a half hour to fill my prescriptions (the office was practically empty of patients on a Monday afternoon). I request to have a copy made of my medical records and it takes them over 15 minutes to come back and tell me that they would charge me to make a copy.
The first 5 minutes they give me a sticker of my current meds; no, I want a copy of all my medical records showing when I visited for what reasons etc. The next five minutes they give me a written letter explaining why I came in today; NO, I want a copy of my medical records! I wait another 5 minutes, they come back and say they will charge me for copies of my medical record. I said this is getting ridiculous, why didn’t they mention it when I first asked so that I don’t have to keep waiting around?
I asked if I can just take photos of my medical records since its been nearly an hour now, they said they’d still normally charge but will let me just this once. In the end, I felt like I wasted so much time with this place. At least 4 staff and maybe 2 – 3 other patients at this time? I’m definitely not coming back here as much as I wanted the convenience location to work out.
Also, The office doesn’t accept EPS.
