Gao’s Foot Massage

Love Gao’s. I got Willy to do my Shanghai pedicure and my feet haven’t been smoother before!!! I also got a foot massage and he had me walking on air for days.
I had a pregnancy massage done with another lady and it was firm just like I like it. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to come back again.

Dropped in on a Monday evening (6:30pm) for a full package Lymphatic Body Massage
(45 mins) + Reflexology (30 mins). Made a reservation but it wasn’t too busy at that time. Overall treatment was good. Décor is meh. Nothing very fancy here. Price was good for what I got. HKD$ 458 = CDN$ 75. Ask for Mr Ho.

Do you need a reservation? Yes, it would be nice to have one so you don’t have to wait. But, you can walk in and they can accommodate the best they can. I had to wait about 10 minutes. I came for a Shanghai Pedi (180 HKD) but I paired it with a foot massage for an extra 100HKD. My service lasted for about 1 hour.
The room is cramped and small so my husband didn’t want to stay because it made him feel more stressed then relaxed. But on this day, I didn’t mind.
The price is the lowest on Caine road that I’ve seen so far. But I’m sure there are more places around that are more spacious, cleaner, and less stressful looking on a Sunday afternoon.
I did walk by on a weekday evening and NO ONE was there so you may try your luck on a weekday afternoon!

A small massage place here in the Mid-​Levels. There are about seven massage chairs and a single massage room on the ground floor. There are two more rooms and a few more chairs upstairs.
It’s not the best massage place I’ve been but it’s good enough for a quick fix especially if you want a foot massage. I like it how you can easily walk in and do a foot massage right away without having to book in advance. However, I still suggest you to call and to book a therapist if you’re on your way, otherwise you might have to wait for the therapists to come over.
The branch here on the Mid-​Levels is not as spacious as the other branch in LKF. There’s not much privacy here as everyone sitting in the room on the ground floor is just facing each other. You can’t talk very loudly if you come with a friend. They don’t dim the lights here in this branch and it’s quite difficult to take a quick nap while you’re enjoying the massage. I don’t think I’ll come here for a body massage as they don’t have showers available.
I like how they serve you with a cup of rose tea and they give you a warm shoulder pack while you’re having a foot massage. Overall, I still recommend coming here if you are nearby and want a quick fix. If you come often, might be worth buying package as there’s about a 20% discount.
