Hoi An Cafe

The moment I stepped into this place I travelled back in time. Everything in this little coffee shop has not been changed since the day it was opened, well except the price. The ancient refrigerators at the shop front, the painted-​over vintage wooden tables and chairs are all still in use. If you are a tourist visiting the city and would like to learn a piece of coffee shop history of the island, this place is a must. There is a long story behind this landmark coffee shop, the current operator is the 3^rd generation of the original owner. This team of siblings a few years ago decided to keep this piece of gem running and took over the place from the previous owner after he retired… I am so glad they did what they did, otherwise this place would just turn into another Starbucks.
The limited menu is very original with a few new items added. Pics are on the wall and under the glass on the tables with very neat Chinese hand writing. Qualities of foods and beverages are good, but the environment and the surroundings are not to be missed.
