It was a rainy day and places nearby offices are usually jam packed. I dropped by Super Sandwiches next door to find all the seats taken and was surprised to see some empty tables here at Ichigyo!
This is a relatively new establishment obviously targeting the lunch crowd, with a simple mix & match menu and reasonable price. I doubt novelty is the main reason why the restaurant is so empty. To be brutally frank, the food isn’t that great. The prices are relatively cheap compared to neighbouring eateries, but given how spoilt for choices we are in HK, I hope the operator/​owner realizes that they need to take their food up a notch by offering better quality food and/​or more variety.
