I like the bamboo noodles here. The alkalinity is not overpowering and very chewy! (Get the dry, not the soup for extra chewiness.) There are a number of famous bamboo noodles in the area but Kwan Kee is my favorite.
For toppings, I recommend everyone’s favorite wonton and beef tendons. Complete with a hot Hong Kong style milk tea. Hearty breakfast on a plate!
