Aside from the location and the communion food court seating, is pretty good. Like this coffee and the many combos. I was so full after ordering the breakfast!!! Wish hey had the porkchop buns for breakfast.

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times. It’s located in the Mongkok cooked food center. This is essentially a giant mess hall with different restaurants inside. Upon entering, you decide which restaurant you want, place your order, and then you’re given a number. While waiting for your food to arrive, you need to find a table and hope that the waiter sees your number quickly amongst the other 100 patrons dining at the moment. I ordered the curry beef tendon soup with rice. I would much prefer to have it in the bread bowl but with being gluten-free that is not an option. My order came out and I couldn’t wait to dig into my curry beef tendon. I started searching in the bowl with my spoon and discovered that there is a ton of tendon and only two pieces of beef. Where’s my meat? The bread bowl arrived almost 10 minutes later served in aluminum foil and with plastic gloves. Plastic gloves? What is this a crawfish boil? The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with beautiful chunks of beef cradled in the center. The yellow curry sauce is served in a bowl on the side. Since I finished well before my husband, I had the pleasure of watching him savor most of his meal. It now dawned on me what the plastic gloves were for; to prevent you from making a mess of your hands while dipping the warm bread in the yellow curry sauce. Good thing I had my handy, dandy wipes on me! The tomato soup was delicious. It’s thin, water-like, but bursting with flavor. It tastes like juice from a delicious pot roast your grandmother would make infused with onion. Note: this is not vegetarian tomato soup and I’m pretty sure they used juice from the beef to make it.
