Maxim’s Hong Kong Day

The Hong Kong style café is located in Level 1 of the Yuen Long Plaza. It is one of the many restaurants operated by the group of Maxim’s. This place serve food used to be served in the street by street vendor. Now there are no longer any street vendor in the street. The café is trying to capture the spirits of food served in a bygone era in a sense.
You will get a mixture of Chinese and Western food, some are like breakfast i.e. Scramble Eggs with roll, coffee or tea and then you get a bowl of instant noodles with yummy satay beef. You are not going to find anything like it that easy in the states.
Price is very cheap by US standard, a set as I described above is less than HK$ 50, that would be less than US$ 7, no tipping is necessary if you do not like the service or if you think it is ordinary.
Tipping in Hong Kong is not like in the US, most place included 10% service charge, and no one ever tip 20% like in the states.
