I find this to be one of the better dining options in Sham Tseng. The place is cleaner and more comfortable than the other cafes, it has an extensive menu and open from breakfast to dinner. Moreover, prices are more than reasonable, especially if you order their specials. For breakfast, they have the usual stuff like egg, ham and toast, and noodles. They also have the butter & milk toasted bun, but I won’t recommend that, not even remotely close to Tsui Wah’s. Lunch is various types of soup noodles, fried noodles and rice. Everything we tried was pretty good, from the Taiwanese pork & rice to the spicy rice noodle to the duck soup rice. Worthy of special mention is their stir fried noodles. It’s called the boat girl’s noodle. I thought it would be kind of like the boat congee but with noodles, but I guess boat girl had a bad day at sea, the noodles only came with some squid. Nonetheless the flavor was good, the noodles were not mushy, did not lump together but retained a good bounce. Likely the best stir fried noodles I had for a long while. Didn’t get to try their dinner, but I spotted lots of interesting items so i definitely will be back.
