Taco Tuesday!!! Say no more…
Cool little place tucked away in tst. Every Tuesday they do a $ 10 taco night. Beef or veggie and for $ 10 they’re pretty good. The margaritas are always good! My tip would be the passion fruit frozen margarita. Good range of Mexican beer. Fun and casual vibe. Love the place.

Really enjoyed the place. I’m from Oklahoma, where Tex-Mex is really common and good. This place didn’t live up to that standard, but was really good and enjoyable.
But the tortilla soup was the best I have ever had.
Service was good and comfortable.
We had fajitas and a burrito. Both Wedgwood.
The salsa was ok, but very different than what I am used to, in Oklahoma, Texas or Mexico. Not my favorite but ok. Chips were ok too.

Good service, great Mexican food in Hong kong. John the apparent manger, what a guy. He’s the best, remembers names, drinks, and greets all with a smile. As a American I can certify their food is 100% American /Mexican food, so solid! Il be back, and i’l certinly return to «Tequila Jacks», and I reccomend this spot to all locals, and all travelers. Thx to John, and all his crew! #tacoTuesdays …

The mexi fries were great, but the tequila was watered down. My beaner ass knows how tequila tastes and I’m sad to say they served watered down jose Cuervo blanco which is a shit tequila as is. Sucks cuz the staff were nice.

It was my first time having Mexican food in Hong Kong and I really liked it! Nachos is fresh and crispy! Wish there was more jalapeño… Next time I’ll ask for more. Lol. The quesadilla was decent. It’d taste even better if there was more cheese in it. Margarita was awesome!!! Service is very good! Me and my friend wanted to order a pitcher of margarita. The lady reminded us that the size is large so we ended up ordering the El Grande instead. Thanks to her! Otherwise there is no way that we can finish it! Haha! The environment is nice, great for hanging out with friends! Will definitely go back!

Isn’t it good when you find a place perfect for Friday night Happy Hour? Tequila Jack’s really hits the spot for me. The atmosphere is casual enough for you to unwind after a long day at work. Needless to say, I ordered a beer for happy hour.
Beef Nachos — Absolutely ginormous — Melted cheese all over and served with guac and sour cream.
Chicken Fajitas — After waiting for a while and munching on the above mentioned nachos, when this big baby arrived, my stomach was almost full. Sizzling on the hot plate — great for sharing.

I am pretty critical of restaurants in TST, a lot seem to be catering for tourist trade — serve up expensive crappy food quickly, but who cares, the diners will never return!
The food here is tasty and very good value and it seems more populated with locals. The only thing that lets the place down is the service, one of our waitresses didnt know the definition of smiling and the other though much nicer, seemed focused on non customer related activities.

A nice place to hang out with friends after work on a Friday night. Located in the non touristy part of TST, Tequila Jacks is tucked away in the back streets among local other pubs. with a mixed crowd of local and expats. They serve authentic Margaritas, Mexican beers with finger food like chicken wings, deep fried cheese balls and taco. The occasional rat running across the street really add to the local atmosphere.

The place was packed at 8:00, which is early in Hong Kong. I took a seat at the bar, and I was surprised at how tiny it was. There were two bartenders who literally had to climb over each other to work the bar. It was pretty entertaining.
It was «Taco Tuesday» and beef soft tacos were about the equivalent of a buck and a quarter apiece. I got two of those. They were basic, but tasty and cheap. Good selections of beer on tap, and by the bottle with drink promotions on certain brands and days. Lots of tequila too!
There was a full dinner menu which I did not try since I had the tacos. Good people watching, and good service. I’ll be back, Jack.
