The Garden View Ywca

Very clean and cosy with interior design similar to that of hotels in Japan. It’s a little small but that’s something usual in hongkong, all accommodations are small! Though the view is of buildings and high rise houses, there’s a very strong sense of familiarity which I can’t pin point where exactly I’ve seen this view before, Probably from a Hong Kong drama lol. This hotel is tucked right up a hill at macdonnell road, taxi is recommended. However, flagging a cab from hotel lobby is tougher as everyone is competing for it since there’s no proper queue.
Papers/​documents are placed unsightly at desk area where guests can see, making it look more like a residence apartment than a proper hotel. If U walk in, U might mistake it as a typical residence/​office lobby. Staff at front desk wasn’t all too friendly (an older gentleman) too, but what matters most is the hotel room, more importantly it’s comfortable! I almost felt like I was at home :)
