Zentro

Today was my fifth time at Zentro. From the very first time I got assigned to a stylist. She is very nice and competent. The assistants help with washing and colouring. The stylist chooses the colour, trims/​cuts and does the blow-​drying/​styling. At Zentro I always get lots of good tea to drink and magazines to read. I just walk in, never needed an appointment, they are busy but have lots of stylists and assistants. I assume they’d call in more hairdressers to come in quickly if needed. As many businesses in Hong Kong, they are open every day till late and they provide professional and affordable service. I’ve tried wash and blow-​out, Brazilian blow-​out, colour and trim and was very happy with the service and result each time. That is unusual for me. I trust them and like the relaxed atmosphere. Usually I suffer at the hairdresser because of their habitual interrogation-​like forced conversations with the customer or their discussing private matters in front of the customer. And their cutting-​more-​than-​permitted or suggesting highlights, red colour or layers makes me suffer. I usually cannot wait to get out of the door and I eternally fear they’ll cut off too much. But at Zentro I read magazines or bring a book and relax into the moment. They lock your jacket and handbag into a locker and hand you the key. So you can always access your things and can relax even more because you know all is safe while you’re getting your hair washed and your head massaged.
