I love trying something different. Of course I love traditional dim sum but of course every dish started somewhere I also love they offer small portions(2 pieces) so as a solo diner I was able to taste 6 different dishes. Had Truffle Brie dumplings, Tomato Mozzarella Dumplings with a pesto sauce, French-Peking Duck 餃子, Kebabun(Kebab meat buns), Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao(soooo yum!), and Bun Tatin for dessert. Take a break and try something new

Oui mais… non. Si l idee de depart n est pas mauvaise, ce qu on trouve dans l assiette est vraiment decevant. Une note salee pour un manqué flagrant de saveurs… Quel dommage, passez votre chemin.

Loved the fusion dumplings, buns and desserts here. Traditional dim sum techniques meet Western flavors in dumplings like ratatouille and duck confit, and they even have a burger bun with a secret sauce you squeeze on! It’s an interactive experience and the subtle layers of flavor are one of a kind. If you’re looking for a fusion, modern take on dim sum, you’ll find a truly unique experience here. Service is great, too. Finish with a fusion dessert for the win!

Everything about Man Mo is beautiful. The delicate food, the simple venue, the art, the presentation — if you want to find a place to come and feel ferociously cool, this is your place. And I can’t lie, I loved the concept from the moment I walked in. However there were some downsides. Factoring«fusion» into anything is… complicated. So while some of the dim sum was excellent(don’t miss the ratatouille and burger bun) a few missed the mark(womp, womp… truffle brie). And of course the prices were higher than I’d spent on any other lunch that week. But even considering all the above, I’d still put Man Mo Café in the 4-star category… …until I factor in service. While the staff was completely pleasant, they were incredibly slow. It took over 2 hours from when we ordered to when our final dish was served… and we only ordered 5 dishes off the dim sum menu. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes to get the staff’s attention for the bill and payment. I would understand if they were heaving with people, but we were one of three tables during lunch service. By the time our nearly 3 hour experience was over, we were hungry again, so we stopped by a noodle shop on the way back to central! With free wifi and tasty food in a super cool venue and neighborhood, I’m sure Man Mo could be a favorite of mine. They’ll just need to sort our their service first.
