Playa Getares

this beach is the best beach in Algeciras :)
I live five minutes away from it and i gotta say it is totally worth to spend a day at. Its got a mix of paradise beach with mountains on the side. The sand is yellow and powdery and the water is really good. It’s a mix of the atlantic ocean along with the mediterannean. They’ve got beach paddling boats you can rent along with deck chairs and shelter. It’s also got restaurant’s on the outskirts of the beach, along with a tiny fair that they put for the kids in the summer and a afternoon/​night market they put out during the summer. Offering jewellery, clothes and house decorations at a bargain price :)

Os voy a hablar un poco sobre esta bonita playa de Getares, en Algeciras. En Algeciras tenemos dos playas, ésta y la de Rinconcillo (antiguamente había más), pero la del rinconcillo esta algo castigada por el puerto y sus residuos. Esa playa es más limpia que la otra, entre sus banderas ondea la azul de una playa limpia, aunque últimamente también está siendo castigados por los buques que van y vienen de Gibraltar. ya que hablamos de Gibraltar, la estampa de esta playa es la gran roca inglesa de fondo, siempre presente, se ta hace raro ir a otra playa y no ver Gibraltar al fondo. Esta playa está situada más concretamente en San García. De longitud esta playa creo que no es muy grande, tendrá a lo sumo unos 2 km de longitud, pero bastante ancha por algunas zonas. Tiene grandes parking en sus alrededores aunque se suelen llenar en épocas de verano. Suele ser un mar no muy calmado en ocasiones veremos olas considerables sobretodo cuando pasan los Ferrys camino a Ceuta. Es una playa para visitarla. 5 estrellas
