My love-hate relationship with Cerchas goes something like this: The idea of paying 2.25 euros for a caña [1] appalls me. I am even more appalled by the fact that we received no bar snacks and the waiter threw our cheque on the table along with our drinks. I love the waffle stand that is adjacent to the main restaurant/bar. After a day at Cies(the port is across the street) or some pre-feria preparation, there is nothing as revitalizing as one of the delicious, slightly crispy, warm, chocolate covered waffles. The calories provide fuel to keep the party going in Baiona all night long(and one of these waffles costs only 2 euro!) [1] Caña = draft beer.
