Muy buen ambiente. Tranquilo. Moderno.
Atención normal, nada especial. Rápida.
Excelente capuchino y muy buena bocata de tortillas.
Les hace falta un menú más amplio de desayuno y los baños huelen terrible.

Es de estos restaurante donde no entraría sino te indicaran concretamente que hay un restaurante allí… Tiene un bonito interior, con mucha madera clara, un espacio abierto.
No es precisamente barato (plato 12 – 25 EUR, mas o menos), pero la calidad y la presentación de la comida merece este precio sin duda. Eso sí: los comilones entres nosotros tendrán que pedir el menú completo para no levantarse con hambre. no es mi caso así que me quedé muy contento con la comida.
Ahora: no se va a convertir en mi rte. favorito y la razón es mas bien personal: para comer tan bien, con tanta elaboración y calidad, a un precio ligeramente fuera del promedio… me iría a un sitio con otro estilo interior, mas acogedor, con mas distancia entre las mesas… no sé si me explico…
Bueno, a probarlo vosotros mismos, seguro que no os quedais decepcionados

My friends and I had brunch here while we spent the weekend in Barcelona. The food and service are amazing and inexpensive, and the restaurant is decorated very nicely but simply. I would definitely recommend this place!

Siempre pasaba por delante de este restaurante, con un diseño semi nórdico, minimalista y siempre lleno. Por fin decidí probar su «menú del día» tras haber leído un sinfín de buenos comentarios por las redes sociales.
No tienen menú del día, disponen de una escueta pero molona carta con primeros, segundos y postres. Eso sí, la carta la cambian cada semana aprox.
Los precios son de nivel alto ejecutivo. Pero ejecutivo que está de operación bikini, porque las raciones són extremadamente pequeñas. Digamos que los platos són como la decoración del local: minimalistas, sin apenas guarniciones, escasos pero de buena calidad y gusto exquisito.
El servicio es normalito. Con el rango de precios que tienen, yo creo que se podría mejorar bastante.
Probé la coca de alcachofa y sardina (una ridiculez), el steak tartar (super simple, 0 guarnición) y el arroz (espectacular). Todo muy rico, sí, buena cocina, pero para nada equivalente al precio que se vende.
Recomendable para paladares finos, estómagos reducidos y cuenta bancaria feliz.

Me encanto este lugar !!! A pesar de todas las delicias que había en la carta, me decidí por el tradicional gazpacho que me encanta y la verdad fue una elección muy acertada ya que es muy distinto a un gazpacho normal ya que este tiene un sabor como ahumado y se sirve con hielo picado, lo recomiendo al 200%
De plato principal comí el cerdo con las salchichas de sangre en col y fue otro gran acierto
Lo único que podría mejorar es aumentar el tamaño de las porciones ya que todo es tan rico que te quedas siempre con ganas de mas !!!
Es un restaurante muy nítido con todo en bkanxo y muy minimalista que te hace sentir muy zen y sereno cuando estas ahí

A great restaurant hiding in the middle of Barcelona.
The 5 course menu is excellent… Corn yogurt, lamb, salmon, soup, dessert, etc.
My favorite dish was the salmon which can also be requested on its own (ie outside the fixed menu).
The wine list is limited with some wines not available.
Last but not least… Excellent kitchen :)!!!

Don’t be fooled by it’s casual interior. This cuisine is well thought out with layers of flavor and made with love.

More of a place would expect to find in Copenhagen than Barcelona with tables and bench seats made of pine which provides a conifer sent when one walks in the door — a place to go for a sensory culinary experience versus large amounts of food — everything we had was extremely fresh and well presented — artful as well as good — though like many places my main dish of suckling pig lacked enough of that most magical ingredient, salt. However, for a romantic dinner this is a excellent choice — the focus on natural ingredients makes it a nice follow up to a visit to the nature inspired Sagrada Familia — pricey but out of the ordinary — worth a visit

Wow! My husband and daughters and I had the surprise pleasure of dining at Embat our last night in Barcelona. Embat had been recommended to my husband by the wine shop where he had spent some time buying wonderful Spanish wine we can’t find in the US. We were visiting our older daughter who was studying there and had had several months to find several great spots for eating that she had shared with us but even after 8 days of putting much emphasis on our culinary experience in Barcelona, my daughter exclaimed after trying her Salmon Tartare, this is now my favorite restaurant in Barcelona! We also had the starter of grilled octopus with an Asian influence (we loved it so much we ordered a 2nd one). My husband had the wild boar terrine which was fantastic. They handled a nut allergy and special request very graciously and thoughtfully. There were not a lot of people there when we were there on a Friday night and I truly don’t understand why. If you don’t try it you will be missing out! This place is a gem! Go!

This was our first stop in Barcelona after getting in from LA, and it was a great introduction to Catalan cuisine. It’s very charming with just the right amount of service without being stuffy. After the end of our trip and evaluating all of the fancy 1,2,3 michelin star restaurants, this was a great value and a nice and relaxing way to start our trip. I can’t remember everything that we had, except there was a fruit «soup» that was fantastically refreshing for end of May.
