En plena eixample Esquerra se encuentra este pequeño lugar, donde los sabores de sus fantásticas hamburguesas y bocadillos son muy especiales.
El lugar es modesto y pequeño, pero grande en el servicio, calidad de los productos que ofrecen, amabilidad y simpatía. Y mejor aún porque los precios son accesibles.
La reina y especial es la hamburguesa llamada Chivito, pero también están súper buenas, la Normando, Pesto, Chihuahua, Vegetariana, etc y las patatas! …uff! (se me hace la boca agua). Recomendable al 100%, eso sí, iros con tiempo por si acaso tenéis que esperar a conseguir lugar para sentaros.

Such an amazing combination of flavor and textures. To start the beer is wonderful onto the great stuff. The venison burger w foie is unbelievable. I’ll be back for more when I’m hungry again! Many cheers to the helpful staff also.

This place has such a small entrance that you might miss this place all together. Place looks very unimpressive from outside. On a sunny Saturday afternoon one my way to Camp Nou, I stopped by this place for lunch. The place is very very small. They have menu both in Catalan and English, so if you do not understand Catalan please do not hesitate to ask for the English menu. I ordered the «special’ burger. I also ordered a glass of Estrella. The beer was served with glass of green olives, good start. Then came the burger and it looked sumptuous. The special was very very special. The combination of runny egg yolk and ground meat, was too good to be true. The hand cut potato chips were crunchy, salty, just perfect, the way I like. The staff was very friendly. So if you are in Barcelona and craving for some great burger, this is the place to go.

Foc i Oli is a super tiny place. There are ten seats. Ten. You will sit at a counter. There is no privacy.
That’s normally the kind of place I’d hate, but Foc i Oli makes some incredible burgers.
I had the Chivito (thin slices of beef steak, ham, bacon, mayo, salad dressing, gouda, red pepper and caramelized onion on brioche bread.) For 9.80 €, it was a taste sensation. I loved it. Although not technically a burger, it basically tasted like one.
We arrived near closing time, but the guys here were super-​accommodating. Most locals seemed to grab their burgers to go.
They do serve beer (I believe they have just one tap) and have some spirits on the wall, so I guess they can whip up a few mixed drinks.
Whether you get a burger to go or squeeze your way into a seat, Foc i Oli is an awesome addition to your Barcelona checklist.

I think this might have been the best burger I’ve ever had! Every element was simply perfect from the buttery bun to the chivito cooked medium well. It’s a classic burger joint done in Barcelona gourmet style.

Definitivamente las mejores hamburguesas de Barcelona, hechas con producto de primera calidad.
Hay que tener en cuenta que el sitio suele llenarse en horario de comida o cena y al estar tan pequeñito muchas veces hay que esperar un buen rato, espera que definitivamente se ve recompensada cuando te llevan tu bocadillo/​hamburguesa.
Recomiendo ampliamente su versión del famoso chivito, que aunque se vea «pequeño» es sumamente consistente.

The chivito at this charming hole in the wall is truly
.zing. Warm, melt in your mouth deliciousness on a super pillowy bun. I have no doubt that their other burgers are also quite yummy, but we’re in Barcelona for a month and I will be back for the chivito. P. S. Super kind staff. They have menus in English — just ask. There are only 6 or 8 stools at two counters. We scored two by the window for great people watching.

This was my 1st time here and the recommended CHIVITO is out of this world. Anyone who is in Barcelona or nearby should come down and try this. The place is Cosy & the service is very friendly. Wonderful experience.

The Burgers & Sandwiches are, to my taste, the best in the Barcelona. Meat, bread, sauces (especially pesto) and potatoes are of highest quality. What’s more pleasing about this place is that the people working there are very nice as well and in 5 minutes you will feel yourself at home.

We decided to try something different other than tapas after a long day of site seeing. The burgers are so good. I have to say the best I’ve had in a really long time. The place is a small maybe 10 to 12 chair but the owner and the atmosphere is so chill and friendly.

Hace mas de un año por casualidad conocí este sitio, es pequeño pero bastante acogedor, he de recalcar que la atención es exquisita te sientes como en casa y por su puesto sus hamburguesas bocadillos tapas etc son deliciosas ! El precio me parece bastante correcto para el servicio en general que ofrecen !
Recomiendo totalmente este lugar, para cualquier día que no te apetezca cocinar y quieras pasar un rato agradable …

One of my favorite places we ate at! Very very small space, but the food is amazing. They mainly have burgers, but the burgers are sooooo good! They have many different options, it is definitely not your ordinary burger. Also, the service is amazing. The guy spent time with us going over the whole menu, since it is in Spanish. The prices are really good too. Overall, this place is amazing.

This little place is amazing and has lots of character. Met the owner/​chef who is so friendly and patient. Menus are in Catalan so he sat and translated all to English for us.
Most of what we saw were burgers and sandwiches. I tried the beef burger and my husband had the foie gras one. Both served with a side of patates — simply delicious! He took care to make an onion ‘confit’ with wine reduction, meat was cooked exactly as we ordered it (medium).
Really enjoyed our meal — even more so with a small Estrella on the side.
Though burgers aren’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think Spanish food, this isn’t a bad idea at all. The patates and Estrella helped give it a local flavour, and the burger themselves have been tweaked (sauces/​bread used).
Definitely recommend this to someone who is over eating tapas! Prices are great and the owner is super nice! Would be back if I returned to Barcelona :) thank you for a wonderful meal.

El lugar perfecto para compartir unas copas con los amigos… luego de las 6pm las cañas vienen acompañadas de unas deliciosas tapas… Los chicos que te atienden Juan y Flo, te hacen sentir como en casa… No dejes de probar el bocadillo estrella de la casa: El Chivito (especialidad uruguaya)

Un local bastante pequeño, pero con una atención de 10 puntos, los chicos que atienden son como tus amigos de toda la vida. las tapas son muy muy ricas. Los precios son muy ajustados a cualquier presupuesto y la relación con la calidad es insuperable. Creo que me haré asidua y será mi rincón de cada viernes para después de una semana de trabajo :) ¡viva!

Foc i Oli es un local pequeñito, atendido por un uruguayo y un francés muy majos que se esmeran en que los clientes estén siempre felices… y cómo lo logran? Pues ofreciendo copa de vino o cañita a 1,50 acompañada de una buena tapa. No, no son olivas ni cacahuetes, sino platos preparados como unas sabrosas bravas, pimientos, pollos con especias y alguna que otra especialidad que se les ocurra. Tengo que volver para probar el que parece ser la estrella del lugar, un bocadillo llamado Xivito.

Myself and 2 other friends were starving after walking around barcelona for quite sometime and ended up here. It’s quite small, but they make up for it with their deliscious sandwiches. I thinks my sandwich and beer was 8euro. so it was extremely affordable and the food came out quick… it was none of that 3 hour long dining that many folks are used to around barcelona. It felt like we were in someone’s personal kitchen. They even spoke a little english to explain the menu and make small talk. They loved that we came all the way from Texas. You won’t be dissappointed by grabbing a quick bite here.
