If you want traditional Spanish food from northern region of Spain, then this is the right restaurant for you. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the owner himself Manrique took his time to walk us through his self created menu and give us his recommendations and favorites in each category. As appetizers we order the prawns, the 5 cheese platter, fried Camembert, mixed chorizo and the beef carpaccio. Absolutely delicious. Main course was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, traditional boneless oxtail stew which is cooked for 4 hours then baked to right temperature. I totally recommend this dish. Also the suckling lamb shoulder on bed of creamed potatoes and of course various cuts of northern Spain beef. They have a great selection of wine specially from the northern region. All desserts are made in house and delicious. We had the Rice pudding filled Hot crêpe, the chocolate mousse, brownie, almond cake and the hot crêpe with apples cooked in cider. Amazing experience with a great service. Go there if you’re in the Costa del sol Area. Solid 5 out of 5

Great food for all, from kids to adults. Nice service and familiar setting. The steaks were perfect and the lamb in wine sauce was good. The kids nuggets was home made breaded tender juicy filet of chicken. Slightly pricy but worth the money!

The stars say it all. Excellent food. A little on expensive side for Spain but well worth it. Near the local train station so a little off the tourist beat which makes it a place to eat.

Excellent food and wine list. You can tell the kitchen took time with the dishes. The prices reasonable for the quality of the food. The cider from Asturias is a must. The staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Must reserve for dinner. Parking is a problem being right in busy downtown Arroyo. Always worth coming back! Ventresca is excellent and a must have!
