Found this place after being recommended by many people. It has a warm welcoming atmosphere and wide range of food on the menu. The service is quick and cheerful. We found the prices very good value. All considered it’s a good experience, worth a visit.

En una ciudad como Benidorm, en una zona como esta (la «zona guiri») y en un mes como agosto, es difícil entrar en un sitio para cenar que tenga calidad y buen precio y donde además te hablen en español, a no ser de que lo conozcas de antemano. Ese es el objetivo de este comentario, si eres español, estas por esta zona y te apetece una cenita rápida y barata no dudes en entrar aquí. Además de la típica comida rápida (sandwiches, hamburguesas, kebaps, etc) tienen también platos combinados de ternera o pollo al curry con arroz. Esta todo muy bueno, es muy barato y la atención es muy rápida y eficiente. Al ser un sitio en plena zona guiri si vas a nuestra hora normal de cenar lo encontrarás casi vacío. Por si todo esto fueran pocos alicientes decir que abre hasta las cinco de la mañana (ideal para esas «hambrunas de borrachera) y que tienen siempre puesta la cadena VH1, a mi juicio una de las mejores en lo que a vídeos musicales se refiere. En resumen un sitio al que poder ir «sobre seguro» del que saldremos mas que satisfechos y con el bolsillo mínimamente dañado.

We ate here quite a few years ago, the food and service was quite average. The wife had her handbag dipped as we left John & Josephs (it contained over £1000 in Euro’s) The only person who knew who’d got the money and where it was, was the waiter who served us in John & Josephs! We think the waiter got on his phone and set us up as we left the café. Just out side the door as we left there was a man with a camera & tiny monkey on his shoulder who was having an argument with a woman bartering a price for having a photo taken with the monkey, this was an obvious show for us to distract and slow us down. as we were watching the heated argument my wifes handbag was unzipped & dipped. I think its only fair and right that other visitors to John & Josephs should be aware not to show your cash to any waiter and hopefully avoid the drama and unwanted grief that we went through. Benidorm police were informed but were pathetic. Luckily we had taken out insurance and did claim successfully.

just back from benidorm and had the misfortune to eat at j&j, s meal was practically thrown at us and bill was slapped on the table before were finished food passible [just] service terrible will never be back go to other end of the street to the oasis belgian café and see how you should be treated polite service prices very reasonable and best cheesecake in the world

We have lived in Spain for 10 years. Although we are some 45 minutes drive from Benidorm, and live in a very small inland village, we are both from big cities originally.
Whenever we need a city ‘fix’, Benidorm is our location of choice, and J and J’s is our eating establishment of choice.
It’s open literally all hours and the staff are always happy to see you. Because of our frequency of visits, we get greeted like old friends … speaking Spanish also helps, of course.
It’s INCREDIBLY cheap, the food is good, and the staff are friendly … plus you are centrally located in the ‘English Quarter’ with lots to do after dinner … then after boogying on down at the Café B … it’s back to J and J for some ‘nosebag’ before the drive back home (Neither of us drink, by the way)

Great food to say how little you pay. I have came here to Benidorm for 3 years now and everytime I come it never dissapoints.
John and Josephs offers a quick service, friendly staff that speak good English is always a bonus!
I’m vegetarian and can always find something to eat.
Definitely worth visiting!

Two words characterise John & Joseph’s: Fast & cheap. You’ll pay 2,75 EUR for a full English breakfast. A cheesburger with chips is 3,75 EUR.
But be aware that the quality matches the prices. It’s not bad but on the far end of acceptable. The meat tastes cheap (and it probably is), the chips are too floppy, sausages have a strange taste to them, soft drinks are served in their can. You cannot complain but you could think of a tastier meal.
The waiters, however, are great: very quick and sometimes even friendly.
Personally, I’d spend a Euro extra for a little more quality. But if you want to strengthen yourself for a night out in Benidorm or if you are hung over and need to refill your resources, John & Joseph’s is a good place to do that.

Aquí la comida está al nivel del servicio. No está mal pero se podría mejorar. El hecho de poder ver una cocina diminuta y poco aseada mientras degustas sus platos no ayuda demasiado a degustar con placer sus productos. Mejorable en todo.

The famous John and Joseph’s. Full english Breakfast is only 2 euros. Food is surpiringly good.
I would suggest you get there quite early because getting a table at teatime can often be a problem.
The actual café is always clean and tidy, Menu doesn’t have a huge selection and it is more the chips sausage and beans than a la carte but for the prices its worth it.
