Wow!!!
Who would have thought you’d find amazing Thai food off a random dirt road, on a patio, beach side? We surely didn’t, but I’m here to tell you it exists!
Ajedrez has it all: stunning view, fantastic atmosphere, great service and most important, amazing Thai food. This place is great for a romantic date or when you want to treat family /friends who are visiting. You can even book a private massage before the meal hour (kitchen opened at 1930).
Between five of us we shared: California rolls, salmon rolls, chicken satay, spring rolls, tuna tartar, beef panang (omg), fried rice, steam rice.
every.single.morsel = amazeballs
We did try the sangria here: again, not our favorite. I think I’m starting to understand an article I read the other day about sangria in Spain. and we need to venture into the tintos realm :-)
Last note: this place is pricey — most expensive meal we’ve had yet at 122 euro. We will be back, just not as often as we would if it was a bit less pricey.

I LOVE this place. The food is delicious. Best Tom Kha Gai soup I’ve ever had! Green curry is so good. And they are happy to make almost anything vegetarian. Delicious mojitos!
The venue is awesome, amazing décor & perfect views of the sunset.
Owner & staff are very friendly & accommodating.
During the fall/winter just call first to make sure they’re open. In the summer, reservations are recommended.
