Love this place! The guy that served us was great and so friendly. We had a huge plate of grilled green peppers and it was the best one we had in all of San Sebastián. Great cider too. Will definitely stop by again if I’m back in the area.

One of our stops along the pinxto crawl. Gandarias is my favorite, but it was here where I had angulas… or fake angulas. They were mightly tasty and my favorite dish during my whole trip in spain. Judging from the price of the dish, 2 – 3 euros, I don’t think I had the real thing cause bourdain’s episode featuring this delicacy stated that they were very rare hint: not 2 – 3 euros. Anyway I still enjoyed this dish over any other one i had at martin berasategui where i shelled out 2100 euros.

One of our many pintxo stops while staying in San Sebastian. Nothing much stood out about this place over the other bars we visited. The guys behind the bar were on the rude and unfriendly side, but I wasn’t there to make conversation! We sampled some of the pintxos and shared a plate of iberico meats — that was the best part. They have a menu with pictures and that threw me off — it was like being at Dennys. With so many other wonderful places in the vicinity you can skip this one over and not be missing out on anything.
