Absolutely best Indian food in Spain. I am on vacation from San Francisco Bay area and used to eating food at very highly rated restaurants and this is one of the best I have eaten in. The service is excellent. One thing I always notice is the condition of the bathrooms which was squeaky clean. It provides the closest correlation to how other areas not in direct view like kitchen are maintained. So overall if you are in Granada and are yearning for Indian food, this is the place to go

Grenada is clearly not the right place for Indian food. Try a Shawarma or Kebab place. The overall experience left us very disappointed and it took a drink and dessert at the next door café to lift our spirits. It was a Tuesday evening and we were hoping for a pre-Diwali meal. The place had just one more couple and the TV was blaring some rather sad Bollywood numbers. We did not take the hint and hoped that things would look up. Well. it did not. The host was not interested in building a welcoming feel. He was very dry and seemed almost to wish we all were elsewhere. The place was nice and clean, but décor was not the the least«Mughal» — rather low brow Rajasthani. The menu had all the right items. But the food was sub-par in taste, ingredients or presentation. We ordered Aloo Gobhi, Balti chicken and keema naan. There was no cauliflower in Aloo Gobhi. The Balti chicken seemed a hurried job. The breads were OK. I guess being the only Desi place, it did not need to set the bar at all.

Hello feller Unilocalers! Are you interested in A non Spanish meal? The Indian food at this place is really good. It is a little on the pricey side — the rice was 3 € for not that much and we ordered 2 Nan’s but had to get a third because it wasn’t enough. The girl next to us had ordered the Chicken Phal And overheard my friend was getting it. Luckily, the girl was very nice and warned my friend that it was TOOSPICY. My friend and this other girl both have a VERY high tolerance for spice — and this was just too much. My friend ended up getting the Vindaloo which was also very spicy! The waiter was not a very nice human being and was very rude when asking us to order among other things. My friend and I shared the Vegetable Curry and the Dal Tarka and they were both REALLYGOOD. but just be warned — if it says spicy it really is spicy. Not Spanish spicy, actually spicy. Happy eating !

It’s New Year’s Eve, you’re wandering the streets of Granada with a growling stomach, and no dinner reservations. Only about one-fifth of the city’s restaurants are even open, and the ones that are, bank on the fact that your options are limited. They charge a flat rate of upwards of 90 euro, PERPERSON for a basic meal. Then you walk past Muglia and hope begins to cloud your head. You’ve never eaten Indian food before. What if you don’t like it?! But that delicious smell draws you in. You are greeted by a packed restaurant and sadly alert them to the fact that you do not have a reservation, hoping they see the look of desparation in your eyes. «We have one table, but it needs to be cleared by 11:00». That’s over an hour, no problem! As we’re about to be seated, more groups of travelers come through the door, hoping to fare as well as we have. They are turned away, and we feel ever more appreciative. I peruse the menu, which is tangled with dishes I have never heard of before. But that smell, that delicious smell that fills the restaurant means that they have food worth trying. We get a beef kebab appetizer and it is the most delicious thing I have had in a long time. I’m not sure if it’s due to my impending starvation but it is so tender and spiced with just the right amount of balance. I opt for a lamb dish as my entrée. Although I request it mild, it is one of the spiciest things i’ve ever eaten. I’m not sure if the kitchen messed up, or if in fact, I am a lame lightweight. The basmati rice that accompanies the meal, is nothing short of perfection. It is plain but has a mild spice and herb flavoring. I secretly hope everyone else hates it so that I can devour the entire thing. I am not as lucky, because my dining companions are equally in love with it. I tend to eat a lot of Naan. Store-bought, which I had always thought was fantastic… until I tried Muglia’s fresh, warm, onion naan. I ended up eating an entire one by myself because honestly, no one could have stopped me. I am so glad to have gotten a table on such a bust night, but feel so fortunate to have been forced to try food that I normally would not have tried. Muglia, please open a restaurant in Miami!
