It gets the third star for the location. You cant beat the convenience of being inside the Alhambra. Other than that the hotel was unexceptional. The bed was hard and the room was blah and the view was non-existent. The all you can eat breakfast was overpriced and terrible but the tables outside were lovely. If you get to the hotel after hours, there is no where to get anything to eat. We also got lost on the way to this hotel after we entered the Alhambra(google maps doesnt have the right directions) and a call to the hotel for help was not helpful.

This is THE place to stay in Granada — how often do you get stay in Unesco World Heritage site? In a beautiful hotel with superb service? We could see the Generalife from our room, made even more lovely by a late season snow flurry. To close the deal, we had the best meal of our travels in Spain in the hotel’s restaurant. Expensive but worth every cent.
