Can Terra

Right off the bat, I’m giving Can Terra a five star rating. The food… where do I start? I’ll get there in a sec.
The ambience is great, locals and businessmen attend. The service is friendly.
Now the food, it is excellent and the price? Very good for the quality of food they provide.
I wish I ate here on day one of my trip, please try Can Terra.

We went to Ibiza Town for a 3 day getaway and casually walked into this bar that had a few cool looking people hanging around outside drinking and eating nibbles — when we got in it was jam packed with a great buzz and full of mouthwatering aromas.
We ordered the king prawns (12 huge tasty prawn for less that € 15!) and the Tuna steak — cooked to perfection! We loved it so much that we went back again the next night for the T-​Bone Steak — again cooked to perfection — even the sides were tasty and flavoursome. The wine was great too!
I really love this place — it’s got an amazing vibe and great for all ages including kids. The food was absolutely amazing and at great value and the staff were lovely, even though they were extremely busy they managed to find us a table.

Cozy tapas restaurant, fair prices and great quality. Love it. For lunch, snack, aperitivo, dinner…

Ayer estuve cenando en Can Terra, el sitio se sale. Puedes cenar de pinchos en la barra o sentado en una mesa, mejor en mesa. No es caro y merecen la pena las carnes y las gambas. Muy buen ambiente y bien decorado. Muy buen sitio para empezar la noche!

Total Local joint and I loved it! I happened to go here with locals so they took care of most things for me minus picking out my own tapas. The tapas are just okay here but what really shined was the beef dish and the prawns. The beef is super tender with great beef flavor. The prawns were so juicy and perfectly cooked that I was able to just chew through all the shell as it was perfectly crispy. I highly recommend both of these dishes in a heart beat. Also notice the yummy ibiza salt the prawns are served with… its some seriously yummy and high quality salt!

Bustling with locals, this is a great place to stop and have a few tapas along Carrer de Ignasi Wallis. People of all ages go here, so it’s not a party place. If you are looking for a good, affordable tapas joint this fits the bill.
The interior is modern, with a slightly messy rear garden but nevermind, the service is friendly and the tapas are amazing. We had the mushroom egg, and prawn tapa which looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Even something so simple as a salmon and avocado concoction was assembled flawlessly and melted in my mouth. My friends had the foie gras which they said was excellent. Glasses of wine are reasonably priced, from around 2.80 to 3.30 Euro a glass. It is a breath of fresh air from the larger, IMHO overpriced, restaurants in old Ibiza town swarming with tourists. Go local.
