Hammam Andalusi Baños Arabes

Absolutely awesome!
My fiancé and I came to Jerez to drink sherry and to relax. Not knowing much more about the town than the bodegas and tabernaculos, it was a huge surprise to learn about this spa from the hotel concierge.
It’s extremely clean and beautiful, and better yet, it wasn’t crowded! During our 2 hour stay we only encountered 4 people. I’m not sure if it’s always quiet but if you go in the middle of the afternoon it should be pretty quiet because most people are relaxing at home instead.
The water was clean, the facilities were bright and light and airy, the towels were crisp, and the massage I received was super relaxing.
You book time slots to be there and you can tack on extras like massages and facials. If you want to go all out and take advantage of lots of services or longer appointment times, book ahead and reserve. You can drop-​in day-​of but it limits your ability to try more things because if they don’t have a lot of other appointments booked they won’t have as much staff onsite. Or if they already have a lot booked, you have to wait or pick a different service.
We dropped in without reserving anything and it worked perfectly for us. We each did a 90 min soak, complimentary tea service and 15 min massages.
There are 3 bathing pools. It’s suggested you wear bathing suits and shower/​rinse before going in the pools. I liked that it was sort of cavernous and dark. Just light enough to see where you’re walking but dark enough that it felt private and romantic. If you’re concerned about wearing a bathing suit in public, this is a great place to rock one. It’s jut dim enough that you don’t see much of other people. And it’s so relaxing you’re not paying attention anyway!
There’s a cold, a warm, and a hot pool. You go back and forth between the 3 until you can stand spending longer periods of time in just the cold and hot pools. It was fun to do and really relaxing. The only other couple there was more interested in the warm pool so my fiancé and I had the other two practically to ourselves, save for the 1 – 2 times the other peopled popped over to the other pools for a few minutes.
The warm and hot pools are massive and can easily fit 20 – 40 people. That’d be pretty crowded but sharing the pool with just a few other people is easy and you still have space to relax, meditate, talk quietly, or just take in the sounds of the ambient, calming music and water running. The cold pool is small… Like a deep, exaggerated jacuzzi — but FREEZING! No need to spend too much time in there but it’s fun to test yourself and feel your skin react to the shock of the change in temperature.
We left feeling clean, happy, and super relaxed. I will definitely make sure to visit this spa every time we’re here in the future.

Solo había probado una vez unos baños árabes, en Sevilla para ser más exactos y la verdad es que me encantó. Ahora he tenido la oportunidad de visitar estos baños árabes en una situación privilegiada de Jerez, en pleno casco antiguo frente a la majestuosa Catedral y la experiencia no ha podido ser más óptima.
Lo cierto es que lo que más me ha llamado la atención no es su arquitectura, decoración o servicios, lo que más me ha gustado es el trato del personal que ha sido en todo momento excepcional. Desde la reserva previa de los baños hasta la despedida el trato fue de reyes, incluso nos enseñaron la terraza en la parte de arriba que tenían cerrada por el temporal, solo para que contempláramos las vistas y nos fueron explicando todo lo que hacían en sus instalaciones (cenas, exposiciones, zona chill out…)
Si tengo que poner alguna pega son los vestuarios, algo pequeños y poco funcionales aunque con una decoración sencilla, agradable y bonita. Una vez que entras en los baños en sí es todo lujo, el procedimiento similar al de recintos del mismo tipo: 3 piscinas, 1 caliente, otra fría y otra templada, la idea es aclimatar el cuerpo en la templada para posteriormente alternar frío y calor provocando la contracción y expansión de la fibra muscular.
Hay una sala contigua con una bandejita y té, riquísimo, a disposición de los clientes. La entrada está controlada para que siempre haya pocas personas y reina la paz absoluta. Normalmente se incluye en el bono un pequeño masaje de 15 o 30 min que te queda completamente relajado.
No es necesario llevar gorro de ducha, ni toallas, solo es imprescindible el bañador y una moneda de € para la taquilla. En las duchas hay gel y champú con esencias totalmente gratuitos.
De precios pues como en todos estos sitios, no son baratos pero suelen poner bastantes ofertas y bonos regalo. Si hace buen tiempo es ideal tomar un café con vistas en la terraza, aunque también puedes ir a la cafetería o a su restaurante cualquier día sin necesidad de consumir servicios de baño. Eventualmente ofrecen exposiciones de arte.
¡Un lujo al alcance de todos, a veces hay que darle mimos al cuerpo!

Nada mas entrar te trasmite una sensación de relajación increible. Está muy bien ambientado, es muy relajante el ambiente que han creado. Dispone de 3 piscinas que van desde el agua helada hasta el agua ardiendo. Esos contrastes te relajan muchisimo. Tambien puedes disfrutar de un estupendo masaje, y hasta puedes tomarte un té.
Muy recomendable para ir con tu pareja o ir uno solo simplemente para relajarte.
Disponen de diferentes bonos, y tienen muy buen precio.
Lo recomiendo, yo quiero ir otra vez!!!

Una vez que he estado, y ni me imaginaba un sitio tan genial para el relax, la desconexión total con el exterior. Tras cambiarte en los vestuarios, pasas a la zona árabe con tres piscinas (son pequeñas, no ‘PISCINAS’)para tumbarte en la de agua tibia, helada (pero HELADA de verdad, cubito de hielo, vamos) o la ardiendo, que notas como pinchazos en las piernas si pasas de la helada a la ardiendo, pero es genial, relaja los músculos. Y el silencio que allí adentro se respira, es hasta reconfortante. Y si quieres, hasta masajes de diversos tipos y un té para terminar. Simplemente, genial. Es un sitio tirando a pequeño, huyendo del jaleo de un SPA (ya sé que no es lo mismo) y en estos días de estrés, es de lo mejor, porque los precios, acompañan.
